About Joanna Jacobs

Once a model and now a jewelry maker and mixed-media artist Joanna Jacobs distinctive pieces include beautiful necklaces made with an eclectic combination of old beads, semi-precious stones and Mexican silver charms called Milagros and brooches and colorful jewelry fashioned from recycled bottle tops with layers of images frequently inspired by Mexico.

Joanna’s work has been sold in stores throughout the UK, Ibiza, Paris, and USA. Joanna has shown her artwork at Rebecca Hossack Gallery London and Proud Camden where here work was included in a show entitled ‘Dia De Los Muertos ‘ (Day of the Dead) other artist’s included Tracy Emin, Mathew Williamson, and Gillian Ayres.

Joanna studied fine art at Bath Spa University and has a BAhons and MFA. She also makes short films and is a photographer.
